Been completely knocked out by this and missed the news that Great Rob Hirst had passed away on Tuesday.
The (literal) beating heart of #midnightOil, writer, and singer. He was bringing the thunder when we were lucky to see them 3 times that last tour.
RIP Rob.

I bought the Diesel And Dust album (on cassette) back in the early '90s. It came out in 1987, and is actually their 6th studio album. It's pretty solid, IMO.
*They formed in '72, and released their debut album in 1978.
