Patrick was #RomanoBritish, born circa late 4th C AD. Enslaved in Hibernia, after escaping he returned as a Christian missionary. Legend says he banished snakes from Ireland & used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. Patrick died on 17 March AD461, today his feast day.
