The dedication includes two messages: one thanking mentors, and another thanking the "filk music community, especially Allison and Jodi, for helping me find my place onstage." At #scbwiNY25, I told wkshop attendees how I used to be TERRIFIED of being in the limelight, but took tiny steps out of my comfort zone, incl. speaking in front of friendly groups. I'll always be grateful to the #filking community (esp @allisondurno.bsky.social & Jodi Krangle) for helping me. ❤️
There were so many highlights, but the best part was definitely the community! I met the most welcoming, supportive, and ridiculously talented people.
