Fabric box in grey with the start of a flower garden in many colours on the front. Inside the box and piles up are three balls it yarn and two in progress socks. One is in blues and greys, one in a sort of brick pattern of multicoloured variegated yarn and purple mortar. Also on the box are cardboard outlines of feet, a incision with various pins and needles and things hanging off them, a couple of pens, a crochet hook, some sock blockers in the background and possibly a notebook right at the edge which contains scraps of yarn and sock notes.

Blue striped sock laid flat on a towel. The leg is all blues in a bobbly knot and purl pattern, the foot has some blue bit more greys and blacks.

First sock: blocking. Feat. late pattern re-planning when I realised that the second part-ball wasn’t the colour I thought it was… I like. The stitch pattern is totally lost in the stripe but I like the texture. 🧶
