But I was totally okay missing the turkey pardon because of this *SUPER* session we had at #SEA2024, on "Understanding the Impact of Resources in Early Life." Meant it when I said best part of panel organizing is pulling together your favorite researchers and most interesting new work on a topic.
What a great conference week! #2024APPAM and #SEA2024 were so fulfilling! So much good research happening. (See @lisagennetian.bsky.social post below!) Phew, I am tired.

My academic career was influenced heavily by the old twitter. I met so many people this past weekend at the #SEA2024 that I first connect with virtually. I am excited for #EconSky because it’s giving the same vibes of community and engagement.
6 days, 3 conferences, 4 presentations, 3 discussant pres, and a poster later, I am done conferencing 😅 wouldn’t necessarily recommend doing that much in one go but I loved connecting with so many of you at ED, #APPAM2024, and #SEA2024! Now time for some rest 😴

The Southern Economic Association is by far the best conference in the econ profession. Open, collegial, with hundreds of participants presenting across all fields. No elitism, no rudeness. Just genuine engagement, as it should be #SEA2024
I had a great time presenting at #SEA2024 this weekend and hearing many excellent talks. I even braved a structural micro session, which made me very grateful my advisor did not let me write a structural paper when I suggested one.
