At #SILGA2025 this week, I went on a tour of Merriitt’s rebuilt infrastructure. What an amazing rebuild. Dikes, bridges, waste water treatment plant & playing fields. Plus entire new possibilities at the meeting of the Nicola $ Coldwater Rivers. Well done Merritt.
Day 2 of #SILGA2025 convention. All 3 @kamloops.ca council resolutions passed including 2 I put forward: 1st asks for provincial consultation on requirements for public toilets. 2nd asks prov to remove requirements for MOTI consultation on rezoning near hwys when there is minimal traffic increases
Hallelujah. My resolution asking for the province to do consultation on public toilets passed at the #SILGA2025 conference today. Now it’s on to @UBCM conference in September for their approval. #kamloops
