I got a full set of composites from this mornings' pass of NOAA-15! Still lots of noise but a great improvement over last night. Better antenna and siting should yield even further improvements.

I downloaded part of a weather map from NOAA 18 as it passed over KC about an hour ago - this was using some 22ga enameled wire in a rough V-shape on my deck. Tomorrow I'm going to build a better antenna and see what I can pull down then. #satelliteops #radio
