I've enjoyed him in #OneAndOnly (but he's the love rival and the drama made me cry buckets) and #ScentofTime (which not everyone enjoyed) so I'm probably the wrong person to chime in. 🤣 I'm really enjoying #UnveilJadewind. It definitely focuses more on the crime solving but I enjoy their dynamic!

Okay, done. So, not really dissatisfied with the ending, but I'm not exactly satisfied. The little, itty bitty epilogue clip at least gives a little closure.

#ScentOfTime episodes 18-19: Okay, real feel - Hua Rongzhou is really fucking annoying. And not even as a rival love interest. I'm just really tired of his wide-eyed look and over protectiveness. I mean, I guess the latter is Hua Qian's subconscious desire for unconditional love, but come on, son.

#ScentOfTime episode 17: I was surprisingly weepy at Hua Shen's sacrifice, seeing as how I really don't like his character.
But he's still a mystery. Hua Qian said in ep 1, "This isn't my brother." And then in ep 2 asked why he was so fat. Who really is this guy?

It’s often the first question people ask on MDL - does it have a sad or happy ending - so maybe it could be rolled out on a website with colourised warnings.
I haven’t yet seen #ScentofTime - but yes, if we had a clear indication from the start of what emotional tone a drama has, it might help

Which means I can appreciate some shows better the second time around. I just finished a rewatch of #ScentofTime and I agree the original ending is consistent with the theme and tone of the story they wanted to tell. But the HE epilogue was much appreciated the first time - i wanted candy not art

#ScentofTime (2023)was more like "Waste my time."
THE MOST disappointing drama. My rating went from an 8.5 to a 5, even a 4/10 in one ep. Unnecssaeray twist and forgiveness that wasnt needed. It would be better if they kept everyone asleep.
