A follow up to confirm incubation was a bit of a surprise 😵💫
We were expecting to see something like pic 1…
But it’s looking like this attempt has been scuppered by a hen Pheasant laying a single in the Woodcocks scrape 🧐

A mild evening after a perfect spring like day
Two passes from the same bird in 6 minutes, see our first male Eurasian Woodcock in his evening display flight
