Scott County health officials warn after first local measles case; urge vaccination as coverage lags Public health officials told the county board on Nov. 18 that measles is resurging nationally and that Scott County reported its first confirmed case after overseas travel. Dr. Wilcox said local MMR coverage (about 84.8%) falls well short of the roughly 94.6% needed to prevent spread and urged vaccination and provider outreach.
