A brilliant sun with large rays shines over the remains of the “Palo Alto” a cement ship that used to have parties galore & has taken a beating in the storms of the last few years. The pier (now demolished) is to the right of the ship. In the foreground, the ocean continues to crash on the shore, picking up the highlights of the setting sun.

A photo I took of the iconic pier at Seacliff State Beach. Sadly, It was destroyed in storms a little while back. The cement ship seen at the end, the USS Palo Alto, is still there although it’s broken up a bit.
