Love or loathe shared paths, the secret is always (as it is with roads) lower speeds, observation of your surroundings and acceptance of others.
I personally like shared paths, but I check over my shoulder before changing direction when walking and cycle slowly when close to others 🚶👨‍🦽🚲🐕
