Saw a microbat for first time in a long time.
I remember a time not long ago when they would release from the tropical forest to swarm the sky on sunset, just before the fruit bats would darken the sky in great numbers.

Most people suffer from #ShiftingBaselineSyndrome and don't really notice how nature is disappearing before their eyes.
This, combined with our hustle culture, consumerism + ego cultivation, leads to a complete lack of understanding that intact nature is the basis of all life.
With today's technology many countries should be able to come together and resolve this huge problem. China, fix yourself, or other countries will do it for you.
