#ShopFrontFriday Trastevere
A slightly rundown looking shop front, on a steeply sloping (downhill from left to right) street in Edinburgh’s Old Town. There’s a closed double width, wooden door on the left, in a grubby, dull salmon pink tone (that is probably one of the approved colours for Georgian era architecture from the local historic buildings trust - I don’t know, you can go and look that up yourself), with matching paintwork on the wooden parts of the window, towards the right side of the building. The lower half of the window is protected by a timber frame filled with wire mesh. Upper half of the window timber sections are shaped in an art nouveau style. Behind the wire mesh lies the sign with dark lettering against a cream background, saying “George Mackay Bowling Green Ball Maker”
