shrimp tank from october 2025. many neocaridina shrimp are visible throughout the tank, with a wide variety of colors and sizes. a lot of them are in the front left corner, on and around a stick of food. the plant life has also changed, with hardier plants surviving better across the months

how it started vs how it’s going!

3 months of shrimp keeping has been amazing so far and i’m thrilled with the growth my tank is showing. i started with 11 orange pumpkins (and later 11 blue dreams), we now have TONS of babies! can’t wait to see what another 3 months looks like!

i’ve got so many gorgeous wild types in my shrimp tank now, and they keep having more babies! it’s wonderful to see how many i have, but i’m so scared of sucking them up into the siphon when i do water changes (i thoroughly search my buckets afterwards for stowaways, don’t worry!)
