A Great Blue Heron, just landed on wooden decking and wings still spread - seen from the back, taking a step, one foot up. Its head is turned a little to the right, so long bill is visible. Shadow to its right. Other wooden decking in the background. In monochrome, and the feathers on the wings show darker at the extremetires than across the back and leading edge. Darker band on head, white crown and cheeks also visible.
