If you ever find yourself with the incredibly specific problem of trying to find&replace a PUA character in #libreoffice, but it keeps cutting the 2 bytes in half and leaving a question-mark thingy, here is the very stupid #regex solution I found:

using a custom ttf font in openscad is a lot easier then expected, and linja pona 4.9 seems to work flawlessly. we didn't expect this to be so easy, let's se if we can write a parametric nametag generator for the new project

A Minecraft chat message written in tuki tiki using titi pula

My #sitelenpona Minecraft resource pack now includes #tukitiki's titi pula. I've also converted the typeface to a TTF, which makes adding characters much easier.

For parity, sitelen telo glyphs are mapped to tuki tiki words as well.

I've been updating jan Poman's Minecraft #sitelenpona resource pack, as it was already outdated when I found it. It's based on the official translation, but I've started to diverge from it. There's also a #sitelentelo version

the sitelen pona for akesi, soweli, waso, kala, kijetesantakalu, jan and pipi drawn as cartoons. The jan is yellow and covered with blue and yellow glyphs: linjas for hair, lukin for eyes, kute for ears, nena for a nose, uta and luka/moku for a hand and mouth (the hand is holding a "palisa pan"), luka and ilo/kepeken for the other hand and a tool, len covering the body and nokas for legs. The toki pona symbol is used as a speech bubble. The waso is a grey circular shape with a beak out the front and two thin legs. The pipi is purple and green and has 6 pointy legs bent downwards at right angles and a hemisphere head with bug-eyes. The soweli is vaguely shaped and covered in brown fur from head to toe. The kijetesantakalu is dark red with white stripes on its tail. The akesi has a green scaly back, orange eyes on stalks with slit pupils, a wavy tail and frog-like legs. The kala is salmon-coloured with grey fins and gills and pursed lips. All original glyphs are overlayed on top. They are very simply drawn. Whew.
