From top left, clockwise: a late-blooming candy pink Scarborough Fair rose from David Austin with a red bud of a further flower to follow; startlingly purple berries of the Callicarpa bush aka American Beautyberry, glistening in the sun above their ovate green leaves in front of a grey wood fence; a recently purchased pot of yellow and rusty coloured Rudbeckias, waiting to be planted in a border today; one of our Sedum plants next to the path, glistens in the sun with it’s pink and white flowers signalling to passing bees; another late-flowerer - this time a green Hydrangea, planted last year; a deep purple Salvia that has flowered all through the summer.
I missed last week but here’s a hasty #SixForSaturday compilation. Hope you enjoy your weekend. *Captions in alt text
