I think this is Wolf's Milk (Lycogala epidendrum), which may look like a fungus but is actually the fruiting body formed by congregations of amoeba 🌱🍄

Absolutely thrilled to discover this amazing friend in the yard yesterday. Despite being in an ideal climate for them, I rarely see slimes this... generous, haha

Probably 𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢? Definitely 𝘗𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘦, though.

A brown round wolfs milk slime mold fruiting body on a log. There is a small "nipple" on the surface that will release spores when the body is disturbed.

Lycogala epidendrum - Wolf's Milk AKA log pimples

When they're not mature they release pink "milk" when crushed, mature ones spew clouds of spores when rain or a curious ape touches them.

Wolf’s Milk are like tiny tiny puffball mushrooms except they’re not mushrooms. This clump is half mature, between pink and gray, and looks like an ancient carving of the mother goddess.
