Photo of an SKC audio cassette tape in its plastic clear case, unlabeled and standing upright on a kitchen table with a slight reflection of the cassette case cast on the table, which is light but has a shiny surface to it. Part of a dark cassette recorder is next to it on the left-hand side, behind it, and the background is blurred. The top part of a classic Coca-Cola bottle is in that background, as is a Star Trek salt and pepper shaker set. The audio recording on side ‘A’ is of the album ‘Love And Rockets’ from the artist of the same name. The recording starts with the radio DJ (a female voice) announcing the song titles with commentary (to the audience and to another male voice heard in the background at the studio, who is later referred to by name as “David”). The album CD is then played in its entirety with no interruptions or commercials. The songs played are “Jungle Law,” “No Big Deal,” “The Purest Blue,” “Motorcycle, ”I Feel Speed,” “Bound for Hell,” “The Teardrop Collector,” “So Alive,” “Rock’N’Roll Babylon,” and “No Words, No More.” The DJ’s voice comes in on the fade-out on the last song stating that the presentation is called “The 12 O’clock High” and announces the list of songs again. She also repeats that the album played is from a CD (Compact Disc—physical media that uses the compact disc digital audio format) and that the audio quality is top notch. She runs through some of the album credits but does state that the CD, unlike other CDs, does not have a lot listed like lyrics but that the album is “good nonetheless.” She says then that it’s “16 minutes before 1 o’clock in the morning” and it’s “Friday, May 5th 1989.” The next program played is called “Sneak Preview,” as announced from a male voice. The radio station announced is 88.5 FM, “20 years of service to the Wyoming Valley area.” Side ‘A’ concludes with the song “Man On a Mission” by Charlie Singleton, cutoff after the start of the vocals are heard and started at “15 minutes before 1 o’clock.”

What I thought was a blank tape I found recently isn’t. Side A has an #80s recording of an album played on the #radio from #CompactDisc. The #album is #LoveAndRockets and I’m thrilled with it! It has the hit #SoAlive and I feel like I unearthed a treasure. Streaming #music is lovely but this #Rocks!

Well, when you literally wake up with an idea on a Sunday it's probably bad form to entirely ignore it. I mean, that's as close to inspiration as you can get, right?

The image features a turntable with a uniquely designed picture disc playing on it. The turntable has a striking red base and a minimalist design. The vinyl record on the turntable has a black-and-white spiral pattern with a red heart and black elements in the center, creating a visually dynamic effect, especially when spinning.

To the left of the turntable, there is the record sleeve in its shrink wrap. The design on this record cover resembles a mirrored disco ball, giving it a reflective and vintage aesthetic. The packaging has a label indicating it is a limited edition release, celebrating its 35th anniversary.

The combination of the vibrant red turntable, the artistic picture disc, and the record sleeve suggests a display of collectible vinyl, possibly from a special edition release. The setup is stylish and visually engaging, appealing to vinyl enthusiasts.
