German revolutionary socialist #RosaLuxemburg was born on #ThisDayInHistory in 1871. A cofounder of the #SpartacusLeague/#KPD, she was critical both of the #Leninist approach and of #SocialDemocracy. A depressingly small percentage of her works have been translated into English.

Or as the famous Soviet era joke goes,

“In capitalism, man oppresses man. In communism, it’s the other way around.”

I’m convinced we need and deserve something better. And that for all its very real flaws, #Nordic #SocialDemocracy is the least worst prototype and basis ever tested so far.
