Le 24 juin 1859, le cofondateur du CICR, Henry Dunant, a été témoin des horreurs du combat lors de la bataille de Solferino, en Italie. Peu après, en 1863, Dunant a co-créé le CICR. Depuis lors, les champs de bataille et les technologies ont évolué, mais une chose reste inchangée : Les civils piégés dans les conflits continuent de souffrir.
Le 24 juin 1859, Henry Dunant a été témoin des horreurs de la bataille de #Solferino, en Italie.
Pour continuer à soutenir les personnes touchées par les conflits armés, il a co-créé en 1863 le CICR et a mis en place le plus grand réseau humanitaire au monde. 👇🏽
