I'm trying to tweak the address bar on my #Vivaldi browser on #Solus #Linux. I just wanted to add a search bar and remove some spacers but every time I remove a spacer, it starts to delete other items off of the address bar. Frustrating as all get out. Reminds me why I stopped using Mate DE.

I installed #Solus #Linux #KDE #Plasma edition on the laptop last night with no issues. I found #Joplin and #ZenBrowser available as Flatpack files, which was a nice surprise. First time I ever installed any Flatpack on any of my systems.

Strongly considering swapping my laptop from #Manjaro #KDE #Plasma to #Solus #Linux KDE Plasma.
With all the drama in Manjaro-land, I feel like I need an exit strategy, just in case the distro goes under.
It'll mean fewer #browser choices than I usually have installed, but I'll make due.

I'm watching the #Manjaro #Linux #Manifest2.0 with interest and a bit of concern.
I'm strongly considering #Solus as a backup distro if things go sideways.
Also strongly disappointed and concerned to see #Copilot commits in the #ZenBrowser code.

Seems like it's an issue with the #Manjaro @manjarolinux installer. It was misidentifying my location and screwed up the bootloader. I switched to #Solus for the time being and that loaded with no issues.

Last night, I tried installing the #KDE #Plasma edition of #Manjaro #Linux on my laptop, over the #Xfce version. I got an error 32 notice stating there was an issue with the bootloader.
So I tried going back to Xfce. Same deal.
Not sure if it's an issue with the new Manjaro installers or what […]

#Solus はとても良いディストロだとは思うけれども、やはり日本語入力環境を整えるのが一歩必要で、インストールしたらすぐ使えるようになってさえいれば #Zorin なんかよりもさらに手がかからないはず、と少し残念。ローリングリリースで、よく検討してからリリースされているようだし。このあたりは #Fedora だと痛い目に遭ったりしている。日本語周りのソフトのバグは報告しづらいし、なかなか修正されない（報告しないから当たり前なのだが。。。） #Linux
