A golden Full Moon rises behind layers of drifting clouds, casting warm light across the sky. The image, taken from Bahia, Brazil, combines two exposures to reveal both fine details on the Moon's surface and subtle rainbow-like iridescence in the cloud edges. The sky is darkening, creating a dramatic contrast between the Moon and the silhouetted clouds.

A stunning image of Comet C/2000 WM1 (LINEAR) captured on February 1st, 2002, from near Sydney, Australia. The bright coma and a 3-degree dust tail are clearly visible despite a nearly full moon. This unexpectedly bright comet was visible to the naked eye in southern skies.
