I like the way the story is structured around cliffhangers with different "new" characters each time.
Episode 1 cliffhanger: The unfamiliar Pertwee Doctor is in danger.
Episode 2 cliffhanger: Ransome is in danger.
Episode 3 cliffhanger: General Scobie is in danger.
