Today’s #SpinningSunday is the leftovers from a 2-ply spin; I overshot the necessary twist a bit, even for #yarn meant for warp!
The leftovers were chain-plyed with less twist, which allowed the wool to bloom more. I didn’t expect such squish from this #Texel wool! Would spin again!

I weighed out 4 1/2 lbs of Border Leicester 🐑 fleece into 30 gr balls for my spinning students.
The staple length on this fleece is ~6”, the crimp is lovely, and the pin-drafted roving is super easy to spin!
