What’s in a story? Everything under the sun and moon. When we sit with the fire, words waft like ashes rising from flames joining the stars above. They are our own personal records of time here on earth. How many times have you heard a story and said that happened to me too or I feel those words. We need to honor ourselves and the roots where we came from because our voices are paths to understanding and having empathy for each other’s journey on this planet. We all go through the same things, just at different times. I hope this simple idea of sitting around a campfire and sharing stories ignites friendships, experiences and growth of our communities, but most of all, knowing we are not alone as long as the fire glows and we take a seat.
