A nasty head cold hit me last night and I'm pretty miserable today, but today's weigh in made it a little easier to bear. 4 weeks of #SqueakyCleanKeto and down 7.4kg (16.3lbs), my lowest weight in the past year. So I feel like crap, but also pretty good! I celebrated with a tiny piece of cheese ๐ง
Down 6.1kg (13.5lbs) so far (since 6 Jan) doing #SqueakyCleanKeto and feeling great. We had a shrimp sashimi bowl tonight and shrimp stew last night and both were amazing! Hubby is down about 5.5kg, which is pretty amazing given that he's in the office two days a week (compared to my one).

Graph showing two week weight loss, down 4.8kg (10.5lbs) to 123.4kg.
Starting week 3 of #SqueakyCleanKeto and down 4.8kg (10.5lbs). Hubby has lost nearly as much and actually did all of the food prep yesterday. Though he did message this morning to say that adding any amount of cumin to the fiesta egg cups was too much cumin for breakfast ๐๐. I tried to warn him!
Not too shabby for a week! I lost 3.9kg (8.6lbs), which is thankfully all of my holiday/minced pie weight from December, and even a wee bit more!
Hubby also lost about 3kg for the week, and even though he's somewhat of a reluctant passenger, it's nice to make the journey together. #SqueakyCleanKeto
I'm at the same weight I was November 30th! I have officially lost my mince pie weight! #SqueakyCleanKeto
Day three of #SqueakyCleanKeto and down 2kg. Result!
Yes, it will benefit from firming up in the fridge overnight. I'm not really a morning person, so this was a rush job! What I really like about the #SqueakyCleanKeto book is that all of the recipes make enough for left overs (when we are managing our portions!), so we cook once, but get three meals.
Raspberry and coconut milk smoothie with toasted coconut and hemp seeds
Cobb Salad with Warm Bacon grease vinaigrette, quick pickle red onion, avocado, and eggs.
Ginger beef stirfry with cauliflower rice
Day three of our #SqueakyCleanKeto challenge has begun! Down 1kg so far and enjoying the food so far. The cobb salad is the standout so far, though I think we've worked out how to improve the stirfry next week. The smoothie will benefit from having the hemp seeds crushed, but overall going well.
Feeling pretty proud of myself and @andyjennings314.bsky.social for doing our weekly meal prep today. Getting ready for our #SqueakyCleanKeto month by making bacon grease & dijon dressing, sunflour, quick pickle red onions, ham & egg cups, Cobb salad toppings, and cauliflower rice. #ibreatheimhungry
#SqueakyCleanKeto is what we are referring to as #Kegan in our house. It's keto (low carb, no sugar/sugar substitute, high protein) but also no dairy, so it's like being vegan... With lots of meat and fish. We're quite veg heavy, minimal beef/pork, but giving up my no-sugar squash for a month hurts.
Back to the gym today after taking 10 days off for the holidays! I managed to put on about 4kg of mince pie weight in December, so we're doing a 30-day #SqueakyCleanKeto challenge starting Monday, along with our mostly dry January (after a month of Scotch & beer advent calendars). #WeightlossJourney
