I'm really glad they're remaking the Armageddon Steel Legion. When they do, I hope they bring back the lying-down heavy bolter team. That was so cool to me as a kid. If I'd had the pocket money, I'd have done #SteelLegion alongside my Tallarn Desert Raiders.

An Update on my #Warhammer #40k #SteelLegion Project done in #B3d #Blender, tweaked and topologized the jacket, redid the materials, added more details around the model, he still needs UV-ing, some more Texture work, and a proper rig but besides that i'm really pleased with how he's shaping up.

As everyone knows, morale is important for fighting troops. While the Imperium deals with this by sending Commissars, the Steel Legion takes a different approach and makes sure that, no matter where they are fighting, troops get regular tea breaks.

Had a fantastic game of 40K last night, my Steel Legion fought valiantly but were crushed by the Death Guard. I enjoyed the new Mission Deck, Challenger mechanics for the losing player were nicely balanced and achievable.
