Each time before I start stitching I'm kind of intimidated by the counting and once I'm into it, it's really not that hard. The result is so pretty, I can't wait to finish it so I can FFO it along with my book of shadows.

I started this piece in memory of Brooke Nolan who passed away last year .
I have the whole series and several angels by her, so I can always have a project by her in my rotation.

This is a wild test piece. I really wanted to try 40ct 1x1 Tent and cut this piece out of a gifted pattern. It's only 22.000 and really difficult to start and stop threads in confetti areas but I like how it turns out and how delicate it looks.

And another UFO. 2,5years, not much progress - I just don't feel it and some cxc threads just don't color match - they are a bit too light and the contrast isn't showing as much as I hoped for. I will need to re-kit and restart eventually.

That's another way to WIP down: UFOing. I started this in 2021 and got 2.000 stitches in - I really don't like working on this. The tiny half crosses with the heavy confetti are klling the fun. I want to restart this eventually - maybe on 25ct.

After the first 100 stitches I wasn't too keen to continue.This really needs some time to get into, as it's pretty difficult with the color conversion and tiny quarter stitches everywhere. But once you're in, it's fun! English Flosstube coming Jan 2026
