Photo originally taken to show 2 Black-browed Albatros at their nest the out of focus bird in the background had much more character. Standing as it was and looking directly at the bird in front on the edge of the nest, the characteristic black stripe over its eyes make it look cross and disapproving and easy to anthropomorphise as a fuddy-duddy old spinster. the original targets of the photo are in the foreground, the one on the left showing a sideways profile of its white head and neck and long pink beak, while the one on the right has its black back to the camera Canon R5 500mm f/10 1:640s ISO400
