Two of the Art Deco metamorphic brooches from my collection (I have fancier ones, but these were the easiest to get to).
Each has two clips on a plain backplate (with the brooch pin), so can be worn as a complete brooch or as the two separate clips.
I’m fascinated by the designs.

The parents of a couple will give a wedding vase to the bride and groom as a special symbol of their love and unity.
Horsehair is used to burn a unique pattern into the glaze (like raku).

Not as classy, but great fun: Portmeirion salt & pepper set in the Welsh Dresser design.
I have a lot of S&P sets packed away somewhere that my aunt gave me — I especially love the donkey carrying S&P panniers either side. I have a fondness for kitsch 😆

Matching salamander tats w/ my 4yo friend. They shared so many tats with joyful abandon! It was a #healing experience for my #innerchild who felt anxious about taking too many. A gentle way to unlearn some scarcity.

On a fluffed up purple blanked backdrop sit two black (or very dark gray) rubber duckies with Xs for eyes.
Haven't contributed to #SundayPix in a while! I have an entry for #SundayPixDouble though: It should come as no surprise that I have duplicates of some of my duckies, such as this kind-of-grim-looking pair.
