An amazing scene as this supercell tracked through the Texas Panhandle on April 11, 2015!

Dashcam view of what is still one of my favorite storms I have seen. Hollis, OK (April 3, 2019). #SupercellSunday
A striated supercell looms over a road in southwest Oklahoma at night, with a flash of lightning illuminating the clouds and rainshaft with a bluish hue on the right.
Mothership looming. #SupercellSunday
DARK STORM⛈️raging over a field of Sunflowers 🌻. This storm dropped 5” hailstones (SIZE OF CD DISKS) over O’Neil, #Nebraska earlier this year!

#SupercellSunday The Morton, TX storm letting off some steam back in May 2022. A standout storm in what was a lacklustre season. #stormhour #skywx #bluewx #weather #stormchasing #photography
For #SupercellSunday here's the life cycle of a northern plains hailer in southwest North Dakota on July 2, 2018. It produced a definite funnel but it went from high-based to outflow dominant, still looked great the whole time

What a day! This dumped over 130mm of rain over Estevan, Saskatchewan! This storm stayed in one spot for over 1.5 hrs, dropped a funnel and had these KH waves embedded in the mesocyclone! One i won't forget!
Severe storm with surprisingly good structure over the Oklahoma City metro on September 24 of this year. #SupercellSunday
Note: in the foreground is Little River Park in Moore, basically ground zero in the 5/20/13 EF5.
A supercell thunderstorm at sunset over an empty road.
Revisiting Leoti, KS on May 21, 2016 for this #SupercellSunday. We had to be at an event in Denver at 7am the next day. It was still worth it!
The Stephenville/Dublin #Texas “Mother of all ships” back in 2015 was an absolute unit of a storm. Never got to fully stop to enjoy this beast as it was dropping SOFTBALL 🥎 Sized Hail on us!!
#SupercellSunday
The #Malta, #Montana Mothership Supercell was such a legendary chase that I’ll never forget on June 9th, 2021!
#SupercellSunday
A supercell thunderstorm with a pancake stack appearance hovers over fields of tall, green grass. A lone wind turbine stands tall on the left, where there are clear blue skies. A highway is on the right, where the storm's core is dumping rain and large hail in a darkened scene. Brown dust/smoke is being pulled off the ground and up into the center of the storm due to its strong inflow. Behind the dust/smoke is the almost-setting Sun's golden light.
The suck zone.
I think of supercells as Earth's vacuum cleaners, and this beast of a storm shows why: tall grass in the inflow is bent toward the storm, and dust/smoke from a lightning-triggered fire is sucked into the storm's updraft. Mother nature's power always humbles. #SupercellSunday

Arguably the best tornado/structure combo I've seen on a storm chase. #txwx #tornado #stormchasing #weather #WxSky #SupercellSunday
I shot this supercell outside of my apartment in Norman back on September 24th.
This supercell was responsible for a damaging hail storm across the OKC Metro. #okwx #stormchasing #WxSky #weather #SupercellSunday
Stormy skies featuring a robust rotating updraft. Green grass in the foreground being pulled in toward the storm with the inflow, grey-blue clouds and a bright horizon partially obscured by rain on the left hand side.
Dug this one up from the archives. I remember it being surreal watching a funeral procession pass by me right before getting this shot, cell phone blaring tornado warnings.

#SupercellSunday Even marginal supercells count, right? September 3, 2018, view from Linn County but storm was fairly distant.
A layered super cell thunderstorm with a rain shaft under it, resembling a flying saucer with a beam coming from the bottom. Obnoxiously, power lines are in the center of the composition suggesting the photographer’s skills are mid.
