#SupermanSpiderMan #1 by Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez. The story is… fine. Brainiac has a mind virus and convinces Doc Ock to help him by transferring the virus to the citizens of earth (side benefit - mind control). Spidey and Supes stop them. The art is fantastic.

#SupermanSpiderMan was delightful. So glad there was no multiversal event, Peter & Clark just exist on some odd DC/Marvel shared Earth and they don’t explain it. I call this “Earth-Normie,” the world existing in the minds of Moms & Grandpas, where all superheroes coexist regardless of who owns them

Frank Castle stands in the rain outside a shady club, giving a gritty internal monologue about how he's gotten himself a job as a bouncer here so he can punish the clientele. Then Karen Starr walks up with her lacy dress and pink umbrella, asking him if she looks all right for her date, and Frank is so flustered he agrees to hold her pink umbrella for her.

Paul has left to try and get back with MJ (But he's probably going to die next week in Death Spiral anyway), so Karen and Frank are all alone. Karen offers Frank a drink, but Frank isn't interested. Karen asks why he's so prickly, and Frank says it's because he most his family. Karen points out that she lost her and planet and yet doesn't wear skulls. Frank chuckles, and Karen offers to take Frank somewhere private. She flies off with him, and Frank's narration just says "I won't lie. She makes a good pitch."
