The trail on the north side of the Laura Hare Nature Preserve at Downey Hill slips between a Tulip tree on the left and a Red oak on the right. The remains of a 3-4 inch (7-10 cm) snowfall covers the hillside, but has melted enough to let the leaves on the ground show through.
