Plan of the basement: 1. the third (hottest) hot room, adjacent to 2. the boiler house; 3. the second hot room; 4. plunge pool; 5. plunge pool surround and showers. 6. shower cabin. 7. coolest hot room. 8. shampooing room; 9. frigidarium (or possibly a lobby); 10. men's toilet. The absence of a women's toilet suggests that the baths were intended only for male performers and staff. A and B are two toilets not accessible from the baths, but only reached down stairs from the two shops above.
