I tried Hana Kimi, but it was too shouty for my grumpy old man ears. 🙂 Like ou, most of the #jDrama I've tried since #RomanticsAnonymous have been a bit meh - the best of them for me was #The19thMedicalChart
9.5/10 for #jDrama #The19thMedicalChart - idealistic but also realistic, with some very intelligent dialog. Also, Koshiba Fuka continues to impress.
Now into a #jDrama I picked for its AWESOME name #WhoSawThePeacockDanceInTheJungle - a complete change of tone, this one opens VERY dark
Episode 5 of #jDrama #The19thMedicalChart the most interesting yet - so OF COURSE I have to pause halfway to go to work🙄
3/8 done with #jDrama #The19thMedicalChart and it's an easy watch. A medical Drama with no blood so far - although if the excellent Koshiba Fuka's character gets into a ferris wheel, I'll be hiding my eyes for sure! 😱🤣

#The19thMedicalChart is very sappy.
It isn't like other med dramas that show surgeries, fast paced scenes & a lot of yelling med terms.
This show is very quiet & focuses more on the humanity of patients & doctors.
And while it is sappy, I've teared up every episode. I'm enjoying it 🥲

Both first episodes were good. I'm looking forward to the rest 🧐

Watching #The19thMedicalChart Ep2 of the Japanese medical drama whilst sobbing my eyes out . A young man deserted by his mother and left to look after his very sick younger brother 😭. The suffering that goes on behind closed doors.
