A significant change was when Skagra scanned the Doctor's mind, whereby audio clips from other #BigFinish adventures, #Phantasmagoria, #TheMarianConspiracy and #TheFiresofVulcan are added.
This was a nice inclusion and helped make it feel more like an original #BigFinish story.
While #DoctorWho Season 24 has quite a few fans, I feel it was the weakest of McCoy's run. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the serials of that season, but #TheFiresofVulcan shows what the season could've been.

Where #TheFiresofPompeii had the alien threat, #TheFiresofVulcan is a pure historical, and benefits from it.
The difference in #TheFiresofVulcan however, apart from being slower than #TheFiresofPompeii, is that the threat is purely coming from the volcano, time and humanity rather than aliens. It is strange that both are set the day before and of the eruption with neither Doctor knowing
Naturally two #DoctorWho stories set in #Pompeii are bound to share certain similarities and #TheFiresofVulcan and #TheFiresofPompeii are not immune from it. A red-haired, opinionated companion doesn't agree with the Doctor about changing a fixed event in history.
