An aquatic semioglyphoid surfaces long enough for our intrepid photographer to capture its image with his camera. In the distance, the HMS Snark steams onwards to Snark Island. The river is the Spree, near Berlin, the photographer is Hans Bellmer. The picture is done in a detailed pen and ink style reminiscent of the late 19th-century. Such techniques are no longer seen much in modern publishing because no one is willing to pay for it, even at a discount. Yet somehow we muddle on.
Blue skies, nothing but blue skies from now on.
