Last night I straight up spewed out every single thought I’ve been having on a piece I’m writing in hopes of it becoming part of a memoir to my boyfriend and he just sat there with me as I worked through the self-doubt stage of my writing process.

After the first rough draft there are revisions. I’m always surprised by things I’ve left undone and also by whole sections I forgot I wrote. Finding the former is annoying but the latter is like reading something written by someone else-which is exciting. #writing #thewritingprocess
