I cannot remember many names after the WHO introduction. I cannot see name badges hidden behind sterile gowns, I cannot read small font name badges. Whiteboards are rarely updated in theatre. Unusual names like mine are quickly forgotten

#TheatreCapChallenge question re: job descriptions on hats. What job description would you/have you chosen for your hat? Eg Anaesthetic Doctor, Anaesthetist, ODP, Anaesthetic Nurse, Scrub Nurse, HCA etc - do you think patients understand what they mean? @patientsafe3

A couple of months ago I asked about individual participation in #theatrecapchallenge - most would be more likely to join in if they saw others doing it. Sounds like many still require evidence. Be interesting to see what evidence Hospital’s are asking for
