The biggest group of kids at risk of falling through NDIS cracks With just months to go until Thriving Kids starts, parents and experts are warning a particular cohort of children is at risk of falling through the cracks.

Thriving Kids is coming sometime in 2028. Meanwhile, kids with developmental delays and autism are having plans cut now.
Thriving Kids relies on parents and teachers completing therapy sessions for these children.

Can you provide assurance that adequate further funding will be provided if demand for Thriving Kids exceeds current funding assumptions - particularly in communities that have historically missed out on support?

Our final question sent to
@Mark_Butler_MP
was focused on future demand. How well is #ThrivingKids being planned to address future need? Are the lessons of #NDIS past history informing current work? #disabilityrights #auspol

Text beneath says: Question Four. Thriving Kids has been described as easing pressure on the NDIS. How will the government ensure success is measured by whether children's needs are actually met, rather than fewer are entering the NDIS system?

Will services in these communities be funded at a higher level to reflect higher delivery costs, and can you confirm that this will be built into funding models rather than left to provider discretion?

Thriving kids is the new name for Parental Responsibility for disabled children. We know it will be an absolute clusterfuck without trained staff or any evidence of the effectiveness of the program.
