Brooke in supratidal forest extracting root in growth core

Brooke deep into the tidal marsh sediments but still happy

The field time heading towards the mangroves forest

Woohoo. Last core extracted by Brooke

This was a huge amount of work! Root fractions were sorted, weighed & volumes determined for cores to 1 m & extracted at 5 tidal positions across #Mangroves, #TidalMarshes and #SupraTidalForest. Was repeated at 6, 12 & 24 months. Core length & spatial coverage well beyond other studies
