Up on the Kalalau trail at the NaPali coast on Kauai.
The trail is scenic, but not easy and often wet and slippery.
The best way to enjoy this gorgeous, steep and lush stretch of coastal cliffs is probably by boat.

A view of the ocean and enormous moss covered rocks from atop a cliff. The rocks flank a small dark pebbled beach below with foamy turquoise waves swirling into shore. Green and gold moss and scrubby plants cover the rocks. The view extends beyond the rocks to a wide view of the ocean with a blend of blue and green hues. Some headlands can be seen in the distance and a narrow strip of cloudy skies above.

Time and worries cease to exist as I watch the swirls of waves, the light, the rocks at this favorite spot of mine on the central Oregon coast!
