Well, they didn't turn out picture perfect as Victoria Scones, but they taste good, have a good texture and I can work on getting the slashed cross to look more neat. The mix was kinda sticky which made shaping and working them difficult... #TigerOnTheRange

Bit different tonight. Ramen with fried tofu. I am really not convinced by the texture of tofu. It's nice, but it is really weird on the teeth. I am definitely going to be working hard on perfecting home done ramen. Because the underlying "broth with toppings" is a doddle. #TigerOnTheRange

Tonight's kitchen adventure is home made sushi (yes, I'm playing a lot of Yakuza games and on a Japanese food kick). I need to do a lot of work on the rice and my rolling technique, but tastes is fantastic. I also need to start experimenting with fillings / toppings. #TigerOnTheRange
I need to obtain darker bowls because white doesn't set off the meal we'll, but tonight I made Quick Duck Ramen, took about half an hour. I forgot to glaze the duck after cooking, but used the glaze as a dip. Tasted great and I am beyond proud of how it looks! #TigerOnTheRange

I DID IT! I FINALLY got Mayonnaise to work. Took a lot of faff and using the mini processor thing I have, but it emulsified and turned into actual Mayo. And THEN I made Tartar Sauce. Which is nommy as hell! #TigerOnTheRange

So when I had the kitchen redone mum bought me a swanky fridge. Always swore I wouldn't get a huge one like this, but honestly I f'king love it. And what I adore most is Sunday afternoon when the shelves are stocked and I've got a whole week of food to look forward to! #TigerOnTheRange

Textures good, maybe needs 5mins more in the oven but only just as its slightly more moist than I'd expect. Flavour very nice, caramel really helps it. #TigerOnTheRange
