1 – But Not Tonight

Now this is the way you end an album. The US version of Black Celebration has this track almost thrown in at the end and it brings a heartbreaking, melancholic record to a surprisingly optimistic conclusion. Just brilliant.

Enjoy The Silence - there could only be 1…like a bolt of blue shattering the calm, it’s like everything DM was building over the years lead to Enjoy The Silence. Listening to it now, some 35 years later, has the same effect on me; euphoria captured in a song. What a gift.
