My #Troponin colleagues. This is fascinating. Healthy active children. 1 in 40 (!!!) had hsTnT >upper reference level. After a shuttle run this increased 3-fold.

(1) chronic elevations start early

Interesting idea. The issue of waiting of trop results will be largely negated with high-sensitivity point of care #troponin. However, if used within ~3h of symptom onset may add value - not to low-risk stratification (sensitivity is too low), but maybe to precipitate another action.
