We are looking at the doorway to the Tudor extension on a sunny morning. The sun is casting shadows which makes the carved decoration on the barge boards clearer. The two studded oak doors are closed with a Victorian lantern hanging above them.
Shall we do a bit of #tudortuesday?
This is our very late Tudor extension to the Hall built in 1601.
Although much changed over the years you will still be able to see the carved vine and grape decoration on the barge boards and a Tudor rose!
