It is a stark black and white tiled basilica space, with two spooky cryptid Melania in hats standing like pillars or caryatids at the sides of an apse in which there is a wizardly figure kneeling at center in black with two kneeling acolytes in white on either side.

The twin caryatid pillars of Mel and Ania were supposed to be in this scene from an original lost cut of Jodorowsky's El Topo, but were cut for being too ominous. Never seen until this recent restoration! #TrueInternetFact
