Fentanyl Death Leads to Manslaughter Charge for Saraland Woman; Second Suspect Arrested in Deadly Drug Delivery
MOBILE, AL (BuzzReport) – A 25-year-old Saraland woman is being held in Mobile County Metro Jail, facing a manslaughter charge and multiple drug offenses, following her arrest Wednesday in connection with a fatal fentanyl overdose in Chickasaw. Authorities say Payton Beason was arrested alongside 32-year-old Tyler Thompson of Tuscaloosa, who also faces drug-related charges. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) initiated an investigation Monday evening after being contacted by the Chickasaw Police Department about the death of Kailin Laporte.
